Started using this new one and it was just as easy to set up as the first one, just plugged in the USB piece and was able to use it immediately, no further setup required. As a bonus, it already came with batteries like the last one did (by the way I never turn off my 5 year old mouse and the same batteries are still in it working great). Smooth operation, ergonomic, easy to use, and portable!
