I purchased this for my brother, who has been suffering from eczema and psoriasis for over a decade, and he's never been able to find a product that works for him for longer than a few weeks. The product had already leaked and wasn't packed properly when it arrived, so the sides of the jar were extremely greasy. Absorption is great - it looks like the skin drinks it right up, if applied nominally. I can't speak to long-term effects yet, but there is an immediate reduction in redness and flakiness. 4 stars only because this has not cleared up my 1 year olds eczema in days like the ads say. It IS a great product though. We have gone through almost 3 jars in a week and a half, the skin just seems to soak it in. It has dramatically improved the inflammation and flaky-ness but unfortunately the deep itch persists.
