Machined aluminum cups thread in to a standard threaded frame and feature Enduro 6806 Ceramic Hybrid sealed bearings outboard of the BB shell. Fully serviceable. Notes: For use with 30mm diameter cranks with a spindle length of at least 104mm when used in a 68mm wide BB shell. For some reason my son started doing the duck walk at school and while performing this little trick for his classmates he ripped the rubber that wraps over top the toe. Now, instead of being glued up and into place, its basically sagging down. Thankfully that's the only thing that's gone wrong with these and honestly this sort of wear and tear is not typical. What I would say is that if your child is rough on shoes, I would pass on these. They are very nice, very light weight and are great for school. However, due to the design, they might not best good for some kids. In terms of sizing and comfort, my son wears a 5 and these fit him very well. He has wide feet like his dad, and these don't bother him at all. He's says they're very comfortable and does enjoy wearing them.
