Excellent. A bit heavier than my echo gas weed trimmer for reference. Fair balance but it is a bit of a workout. The good thing is I can edge a 10k sq ft corner lot in about 1/3 the time. On the corner, I have both sides of the sidewalk plus the curb side to do. I've owned gas edgers before also. This comes in comparable to the price I paid for one of those 20 years ago so I would also say a good if not very good value for the buck. It was not an initial edging but 1st maintenance for the year and rather overgrown. Didn't even use one full charge on the edger.

The levels for depth make edging around d flower beds or raised beds easy- not really a trench, but gives a good edge. Lightweight and easy to manage. Definitely lighter than my corded edger.
