Nitrile rubber can tolerate short term dry running of the sealing lip. The operating temperature range without failure of nitrile rubber is 40 to +100 C. The must do service package. This is a "fits multiple" kit so youll have some extras. The kit also includes the lower unit gear oil seals, which is awesome. I always trust quicksilver to be durable and a great value for the money.
